Ghana heads back towards gold

I don't think its trying to fully back its money with gold but its trying to break away from the USD. Force domestic gold capitalists to sell 20 percent to the state for its fiat and buy oil in gold. This is pretty wild, will be interesting to see if they can keep it in balance.

woah!
i'm expecting we'll hear how horrible the human rights abuses are in Ghana to justify a war within the coming months. probably not something on par with the propaganda around iraq and libya but maybe something similar. harboring boko haram maybe?

If the plan actually gets thru on their timeline (2023 the article said) i expect it won't last long. They're under the thumb of the IMF already so god and Langley only know what's in store for Ghana.

great post
